Geothermal is a reliable form of renewable energy that will play an important role in the energy transition. Simply put, geothermal energy is geothermal from the Earth's inner core that can be harnessed from anywhere on the planet. Unlike solar and wind, geothermal is not reliant on day-night cycles, weather conditions, or seasons. It can generate electricity 24/7 and provide what is called "baseload" power – a key component for a stable power grid. Today, most baseload power is generated by nuclear or fossil fuels (mainly coal). We can't ease our dependence on these fuels until we deploy a renewable baseload of power. That's where we come into the picture.

We believe that Baseload Capital can play a significant role in accelerating the geothermal industry in the coming decades. But we can't do it alone.
