Baseload Power Taiwan Forms Strategic Alliances to Unlock Geothermal Energy in Tatun Mountain

Baseload Power Taiwan has entered into a strategic partnership with Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), Taiwan Cogeneration Corporation (TCC), and leading geothermal technology firms to develop geothermal energy in the Tatun Mountain area of northern Taiwan.

On October 1st, Taipower hosted the signing ceremony for the “MOU for Cooperation – Geothermal Development at Tatun Mountain.” This collaboration will tackle early-stage geothermal development challenges by integrating global expertise and innovative technologies. A series of exploration initiatives will follow the MOU signing.

As Taiwan’s first international geothermal developer, Baseload Power Taiwan is committed to delivering 24/7 clean energy and driving the geothermal industry forward. Through public-private collaboration, the team aims to unlock Taiwan’s geothermal potential, contribute to energy independence, and support the country’s 2050 Net Zero goal.
